I had higher hopes for this piece. I like the sketch better: [link] This is the third piece I made using watercolor pencils and obviously I'm still learning. I just had a tough time controlling the color. Things didn't get better when I started laying down the ink. But I like the dress.
 This is Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. I always thought how traumatizing it must have been for her to learn of her true identity. Wonder if her past haunts her at times. That doesn't translate well in this picture. I'll probably revisit the idea again and hopefully get better results. Aurora is owned by the Disney Company.   |
